Made in Inverell, NSW
We built this for the workshop down the road.
Printit4Me started with a simple problem. We needed a one-off bracket for a piece of farm gear and the choices were ringing five mate-of-a-mates, posting in a Facebook group, or paying overseas freight to wait three weeks for a part that should have taken three hours to print.
At the same time, every second person we knew had a printer in the shed. Hobbyists, tradies, retirees, parents working from home, small businesses with a bit of spare capacity — all kit, no easy way to put it in front of paying customers.
So we built the bridge. Customers describe what they need. Local makers see it, quote it, and message back. The customer picks a maker they like the look of. The maker prints it. Payment is held in escrow until the customer says they're happy.
Who this is for
Customers — farmers needing a replacement clip for a piece of machinery, parents replacing the lid of a kid's lunchbox, mechanics chasing a trim piece for a 1980s ute, schools printing demonstration models, small businesses prototyping a product before they tool up.
Makers and designers — anyone with a printer, a workshop, or a knack for CAD who wants to earn from their craft. Hobby makers are welcome. Registered businesses are welcome. Both belong here.
What we care about
- Supporting Australian makers, especially in regional towns.
- Keeping money in local economies instead of sending it offshore.
- Solving real problems — broken parts, missing bits, custom one-offs.
- Helping small businesses prototype and grow without huge upfront tooling cost.
- Being honest about what 3D printing can and can't do.
How we make money
We charge a 10% commission on completed sales. That's it. No listing fees, no monthly subscription, no fee for quotes you don't win. Stripe processing fees are separate and standard.
Where we are
Printit4Me is based in Inverell, northern NSW. We're a small team that genuinely uses the platform — for our own jobs, for our own farm gear, for our own side projects. If something on here is broken or annoying, we hear about it pretty quickly.
If you want to talk to a real person, email hello@printit4me.com.au. We answer.
