Intellectual Property Policy
Printit4Me respects intellectual property rights and expects every uploader, maker, designer and customer to do the same.
How Printit4Me operates
Printit4Me is a reactive platform. We do not pre-screen listings, digital files or job uploads for copyright, trademark, design-right, patent or trade-secret infringement. We rely on rights holders, makers and customers to report suspected infringements through the process below.
Responsibility for licence compliance — including any third-party design, brand, character, font, photo or pattern used in a listing or fulfilled in a custom job — remains with the person who uploads, lists, prints or sells the item.
Rights-holder contact
Rights holders or their authorised agents may contact us at hello@printit4me.com.au with the subject line "IP Complaint", or by using the "Report IP / copyright issue" button on any public listing.
Copyright & IP complaint process
To make a valid takedown request, please provide all of the following:
- Identification of the work. A clear description of the protected work (with title, registration number, ARN or URL where available).
- Identification of the infringing material. The exact URL(s) of the listing, file, image or job on Printit4Me that you allege infringes.
- Evidence of ownership or authority. Proof you own the work or are authorised to act for the rights holder (e.g. registration certificate, prior publication, licence agreement).
- Your contact details. Full legal name, organisation, physical address, email and phone number.
- Good-faith statement. A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent or the law.
- Accuracy & authority statement. A statement, under penalty of providing false information, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act on the rights holder's behalf.
- Signature. Physical or electronic signature.
Takedown process & response time targets
- Acknowledgement: within 2 business days of receipt.
- Initial action: within 5 business days we will review the complaint and, where infringement appears likely, remove or disable access to the reported material.
- Seller notification: within 5 business days the affected seller is notified and given 10 business days to submit a counter-notice.
- Final outcome: within 15 business days of receipt, unless the matter is referred to a court, regulator or third-party arbitration.
Printit4Me may, at its discretion, immediately remove or disable access to content where infringement is clear-cut, where there is a court order, or where leaving the content live creates a risk of further harm.
Counter-notice process
If your content has been removed and you believe this was in error, submit a counter-notice to hello@printit4me.com.au with the subject line "IP Counter-notice" including:
- Identification of the content that was removed and its original URL on Printit4Me.
- A statement, under penalty of providing false information, that you believe in good faith the content was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- The basis for reinstatement — for example, you own the work, you hold a licence, the use is fair dealing, or the material is in the public domain.
- Your full name, physical address, email and phone number.
- Consent to your contact details being shared with the original complainant.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
We will forward valid counter-notices to the original complainant. If the complainant does not pursue further action (for example, by commencing legal proceedings) within 10 business days, we may at our discretion restore the content.
Repeat infringers
Accounts that repeatedly infringe intellectual property rights may be permanently suspended without further notice, and outstanding earnings may be withheld pending resolution.
Misuse of this process
Submitting a false, malicious or bad-faith complaint or counter-notice may result in account suspension and may expose the submitter to legal liability. Printit4Me cooperates with law enforcement and rights holders pursuing such matters.
